Foundation for Somalia organizes BRICS Project Info Day

Foundation for Somalia has planned the Info Day for its new Erasmus+ project tagged “BRICS – BuildingSocialBridges by Artistic Initiatives”. The event will took place on April 8, 2022 at 18.00, via Zoom.

The Info Day was planned to announce the commencement of this new project to associate partners and beneficiaries within Poland. BRICS project aims to improve the social inclusion of immigrants through the development and improvement of their competencies (social, cultural, organizational, educational, values, etc.).
The proposal understands social integration as an essential element and as a permanent multidirectional process of creating a new common ground to live together and to support individuals in acquiring and developing basic skills and key competencies.
BRICS project is in all respects in line with the horizontal priorities of Erasmus+ Inclusion and Diversity strategy in all fields of education, training, youth, and sport. One of the project outcomes is to improve the knowledge and skills of immigrants which will answer their needs.
The proposed action seeks to up-skill migrants through a more creative lens. BRICS project gives a sound opportunity to these people, in benefiting from a flexible up-to-date experience of training on key topics such as diversity and social inclusion.
The project’s goal refers to achieving two main results involving all the project partners in various stages:
In-service Training Program on using Art as an inclusive Educational Tool;
Digitalized Creativity Boost Training for Migrants.
BRICS project involves five partner countries (Poland, Cyprus, Italy, Slovakia, and Spain) that were brought together to capitalize and build on each other’s knowledge and experience from the best practices in their national context. The project is expected to span through 18 months period starting from November 1, 2021, till May 01, 2023.
